Us into the MilkWay by DDiArte
July 26, 2013
This has been a really long month, and not exactly of those month you would like to remember. Probably because it was really hard, I’ve appreciated much more the little moments of art gymnastic I have been doing.
As you probably know Florence it’s the “city of Art” and it’s full of museum and wonderful pieces of shining art. If Florence had just David and Boboli’s Garden it would be just a museums city. What is under the hood is a population of little artists, some of them are from Florence and some of them are even from outside Italy. One of them, who was here just for few days, was Sylvie Shiwei Barbier, a performer artist. She dance in a pool filled of milk, with a beautiful live soundtrack, describing a walk from dream to nightmare.
Watching her performance, it suddenly come to my mind the pictures I’ve seen by DDiArte, two extremely creative portuguese guys.
These guys are really impressive. Their creative fountain seems to never dry. They have a wide range of original and astonishing projects on BeHance.
If it was not enough, they have a brilliant photographic eye, a good sense of light and their imagination seems to never reach the limit. I think I feel some kind of envy watching their pictures. Their experience come from a pass of painting, and that’s why maybe the know so well how to compose naked bodies and manage shades with powerful ability. They productivity is really impressive and what is more amazing is that every work they made is at the finest quality you can find, how evidenced by the infinite list of prices they’ve won.
I love the way they live art, and digital photography. Not abusing photoshop, but creating a good balance between reality and expression.
Don’t forget to have a look at their project on BeHance.
